The Bandstand Beer Festival supports “Cash for Kids” charity.
Cash for Kids is the Charity arm of Moray Firth Radio. Moray Firth Radio raise funds throughout the year for distribution to local sick and underprivileged children. All the money raised locally stays locally.
Many grants are used to support terminally ill children from remote areas who are faced with colossal accommodation and travelling expenses for vital treatment in Inverness or the Central Belt.
The charity also supports a large number of pre-school nurseries and groups in rural communities where fundraising can be impossible due to lack of population.
The charity has funded trips for terminally ill children to go on holiday, has purchased essential pieces of equipment for the disabled and granted clothes to children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
If you would like to make a donation to Cash for Kids, you can do so online at Moray Firth Radio http://www.justgiving.com/mfr/donate
